Mary and her husband, Doug, moved to PA in 1998 and immediately became involved in the Collegeville club. Mary, a three-term past president of the club, was raised in southern N.J. and attended Rutgers University, earning a BA in Business Administration. Shortly after her marriage to her high school sweetheart, PDG (15-16) Doug Cook, they moved to Maine and raised three cool kids – Ashleigh Taraborelli, Brittany Cook, and Courtney Woodley. Doug and Mary have six grandchildren.

Former member, Ron Bauer will speak on Manufacturing History in Bethlehem.  

Gary Englehardt, from the Allentown West Rotary Club will explain why it is important to have a Rotary Action Plan.  He will also conduct a Rotary Club Assessment Survey.  Gary is the District Ccoordinator for the Rotary Action Plan.  

The purpose of the Bethlehem Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) is to advise City Council and the Administration as to environmental issues within the City of Bethlehem. They recommend courses of action to protect the health, safety, and welfare of Bethlehem residents, encouraging sustainable design and the use of renewable energy to protect and preserve natural resources within the City of Bethlehem

CAT-Coalition for Appropriate Transportation | Bicycling, walking, & public transit in the Lehigh Valley

• Scott has served as CAT’s Director since 2015. From 2008-2015, he was CAT’s bicycling education director, teaching bicycling traffic skills to over 250 adults, and basic bike education to over 8,000 children. Scott has been a League of American Bicyclists certified instructor (LCI) since 2006 and completed his CyclingSavvy Instructor (CSI) Training in February 2018. Scott is licensed in Pennsylvania as a Professional Engineer.xe

We will meet at the Bob Cohen Room, a concert venue and multi-use space to host lectures and meetings. This room’s name honors the memory of Library Board member, donor, and dear friend Bob Cohen.  Bob was also a member of the Bethlehem Rotary Club and he directed our musical group, Bethlehem Rotary Morganaires.  

The Main Library is located at 11 W. Church St. in downtown Bethlehem, adjacent to City Hall. When visiting the Main Library, note that parking is on-street. 

Ceramic Class in Nazareth on Saturday, 11/8 will be our social for the month.

A delicious Lunch will be prepared by the culinary students at BAVTS.  Cost is $20 per person.  Please register for this event by February 11, as we need a headcount for lunch. Please bring a photo ID with you to get into the building.

The Freezer Ministry is one of our 2025 Foundation Grant recipients.  Founded in 2010, the Freezer Meal Ministry is a community-driven outreach connecting churches, schools, and local groups to support individuals through shared meals.  With programs like Garden Gatherers, it now delivers over 130,000 means and fresh produce annually to those facing food insecurity.
