Happy Friday everyone! This past week we had another amazing First Wednesday at Adagio. Membership Chair Ham brought yet another prospective new member. THANK YOU Ham!

We have a lot of new and exciting events coming up in our Club so please be sure to check our website and also our social media accounts. And while you are checking our social media accounts, please share, share, share!

Upcoming:
  • March 12 meeting at Prime
  • We are still collecting gently used spring and summer clothes (women's, children's and maternity) for our Bloom service Project. This week is the last week for collection. Please give items to DeeDee Foran.
  • No meeting March 19. This is the 4 Way Test Speech contest at BAVTS. All are welcome to attend.
  • Bethlehem Emergency Shelter Service Project
    • Thursday April 24 we are scheduled for the Kitchen Shift from 4:30pm-8:30pm at the shelter located at 75 E. Market St. The entrance is on the Walnut St side of the building.
    • We are also sponsoring the meal, and we will have it catered by a local restaurant. As a volunteer, you are invited to enjoy the meal as well.
    • What do we need? We are asking for 8 volunteers. As a volunteer you may be asked to plate or serve food, maintain the beverage table, interact with guests, wipe down tables, sweep the floor and wash dishes.
      • Volunteers arrive at 4:30pm
      • Dinner served at 5:30pm
      • Dinner service stops at 7:30pm
      • Dining hall closes at 8pm
      • Finish cleaning up by 8:30pm
    • If you are interested in this service project, please contact DeeDee at deedee.foran@gmail.com
  • Rotary Mixer at Bethlehem Brew Works
    • We are trying something new for the next few First Wednesday events!
    • We will have a private space in the FishBowl, which seats 40 people. Stop by and have a beer or stay for dinner, where you can order off the menu. This will allow us an excellent venue to really mingle. Bring a prospective member, family, friend or colleague. This is a great opportunity to introduce Rotary to our young professional community. They also have Wifi and 2 TV screens for presentations if needed.
    • We will be meeting at Brew Works from 5-7 on April 2, May 7, and June 4.

Please remember we have brought back a Zoom option for the Wednesday weekly meeting if you are unable to attend in person. https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81841760217?pwd=WU9iT2FUTSs5cEpZWmNOSnJGSlpodz09

Yours in Rotary service,

President Lori Knerr
