Monday November 14, 2022:

LAST WEEK:
  • We offered a warm welcome to two high school guests from BAVTS. Guiselle Dominguez is a Junior at Liberty High School. Stephen Troxell is a Junior at Northampton High School. Both are pursuing culinary arts.
  • The keynote presentation was made by a delightful team of three representatives from the City of Bethlehem. Jordan Westerman led off the PowerPoint as the Health Bureau’s Community Connections Police Social Worker. Her liaison officer is Captain Hackett. Brian Sabo completed the team as Program Director for Hope Center. Community Connections has only been in place for two years and has an expanding list of proven success stories. The goal is to foster healthy relationships with the community they serve by assisting police with overall referrals in social service areas of need.

THIS WEEK:
  • Say hello to Cindy Hornaman, the District Foundation Chair. We look forward to hosting her this Wednesday in celebration of Rotary International Foundation Month. Past President and District Governor Elect Diane Donaher will do the introduction.

As in previous weeks, this lunch meeting NCC's food service (SODEXO) will offer 4 wrap choices:

  • Chipotle Smoked Turkey Baguette wrap (smoked turkey, pepper Jack Cheese with Spicy Chipotle Mayo)

  • Roast Beet & Cheddar wrap (roast beef and mild cheddar, lettuce, tomato topped with tangy Horseradish cream spread)

  • Basil Pesto Tuscan Grilled Chicken wrap (grilled chicken with basil pesto, provolone, on Foccacia)

  • Roasted Vegetable Multigrain wrap (roasted squash, peppers, accompanied by Herbed Goat Cheese with Field Greens on a multigrain roll)

PLEASE EMAIL JILL LONG WITH YOUR CHOICE BY not later than TUESDAY AFTERNOON at 3 PM.  Cost $14.
If cash - exact change only.  If check - payable to Bethlehem Rotary Club

If you're planning to join by ZOOM - here's the club's link (but please be there in person)
