Meet in the lobby of the Fowler Family Center at noon!
Hang out until we take a group photo with piles of winter clothing at 12:05pm!
BAVTS will be there to join us with collected clothing
So this is our final opportunity to participate in the in-gathering of items for Bethlehem Emergency Sheltering (BES) clients - such as
hand warmers,
winter gloves,
winter hats,
thermal underwear,
backpacks,
ponchos.
Anything and everything as long as it is able to handle wet snow. Knit gloves and cloth that absorbs water should be avoided.
Please bring your donations to the meeting this week - February 8th
After the photo op, we'll make our way up to the 5th floor, where our guest speaker Paula Johnson, Executive Director, Northeast Community Center will share her story of an organization that has been providing help and hope to the Marvine-Pembroke community since 1980.

LAST WEEK:
Our Club returned to the regular location at the Fowler Family Center on the Southside of Bethlehem. Vice President Bill Eckert did a terrific job leading the lunch meeting.
Our guest speaker was Maddy Beck, Community Outreach Director for Angel Flight East. Her purpose was to help us spread the word about her organization’s mission: To provide free air transport to qualified patients and their families by arranging flights to distant medical facilities, delivering supplies to disaster areas, and reuniting families during desperate times. Donated funds help support the staff who connect persons needing medical transport with available pilots and their aircraft. The pilots donate their time and all fuel costs. Angel Flight East pilots provide air transport in the Northeastern US for distances up to 1,000 miles. The minimum distance they support is 100 miles. People needing longer flights or flights originating in other states coordinate their requests through the Air Care Alliance, a nationwide network to which Angel Flight East belongs.
