Hi Al

Here it is:

Jim Geiger was our speaker this week and we were treated to a very informative classification talk.  Jim grew up in California. His first job was at a gas station which gave him a love of muscle cars. He went to college at USC and joined the ROTC and later enlisted with the Air Force as part of the medical service. His work in the Armed Forces in the Medical Administration took him to many places both in the US and around the world.  He served as part of Operation Desert Storm. He initially met Deb in his Air Force training class and they later reconnected and were married. He has one daughter from a previous relationship who is now a veterinarian. He retired from the service and began working at Lehigh Valley Hospital. He held numerous positions and retired as President of Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenburg. He has served on numerous boards in the area. Now that he’s retired, Jim enjoys Hiking, Skiing, Traveling, Boating, and Yoga.

Item collection for Tastes & Tunes has begun. You can bring in raffle items to a meeting or give to Maria Esposito.

Next week we’ll have Emily Rieser, Crime Victims Council of the Lehigh Valley speaking about Identity Theft and Fraud Prevention.

Yours in Rotary service,

President Thea Lind
