Our September 20th meeting opened with comments from our BAVTS Artisan of the Month, Selena Martinez. Selena is in the Graphic Communication track at BAVTS, and interestingly, she played an integral role in the design of the mural that has been painted as part of the restoration project at Centennial Park!
Our main program featured a presentation by Lindsey Parks, the Executive Director of the The Seed Farm. This incubator farm located in Emmaus, provides affordable land, access to equipment and skills training for anyone who might be interested in becoming a farmer. The Seed Farm provides an opportunity for those with an interest in farming to “grow” into the profession! It was interesting to hear about the success stories of so many people, with such varied backgrounds, as they started a new life in farming.

"In this difficult time, I ask you to keep his wife, the Owori family, and Sam's millions of friends around the world in your thoughts."
