THIS WEEK -- Join us in person in the Greyfriars Conference room of the King Spry law firm at 1 W. Broad Street.  Take the elevator to the sixth floor then turn right.  Park either in metered on-street spots or in the Walnut Street Garage,.DG Bob Hobaugh and past DG Cindy Hornaman will join us to recognize the outstanding contributions of Bruce Palmer.  Our own Gerry Foran will present our Foundation's budget.

If you've responded to Deb Geiger's e-mail and ordered lunch from the Brick Restaurant on the ground floor of the same building be sure to, leave yourself enough time to stop by the restaurant and pick up your food.

If you can't attend, but want to participate via zoom, here's the link.

LAST WEEK -- Shane Killeen, instructor of culinary arts/commercial foods at the Career Institute of Technology (CIT) and a frequent Tastes & Tunes volunteer, shared his insights about bicycling and weight loss, a program to feed hungry children, and his school. Killeen offered that one terrific way to earn a living is to become involved in food science -- inventing and improving foods. It is this area that made him a "poster child" and award winner for the DaVinci Science Center.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS -  On June 29th, we will meet in person again at 1 W. Broad Street for the leadership changeover meeting. Come to hear what Rev. Hopeton Clennon has in mind for the 2022-2023 year.

Yours in Rotary service,

President Deb Walter
