LAST WEEK:

Livia Carr - a Bethlehem Area Vocational Technical School (BAVTS) student, opened our weekly program with brief remarks about her BAVTS experience.  She intends to go into the health services field.

BJ Metz was our speaker. He is the current President of the Easton Club, a position he has held a few times, as well as a past District Governor. BJ spoke to the group about his Rotary journey.

BJ shared with us the ways Rotary has the obvious local impacts but also far reaching results that we may not even know about or notice. These impacts can often begin with one person, with one idea or passion, and one phone call for help. He compared it to going to the circus with his dad when he was young, and upon seeing the circus barkers, games and food, said “this is great” and his dad said “wait son, you haven’t even seen the Big Top yet”.

Thanks BJ for your leadership and commitment to Rotary.

THIS WEEK:

Our speaker this week will be Dana Huber of BAVTS - giving us her Rotary Classification Talk.

We will meet as we did last week - in Room 523 of NCC's Fowler Family Southside Center.

At this lunch meeting NCC's food service (SODEXO) will offer 4 wrap choices:

  • Chipotle Smoked Turkey Baguette wrap (smoked turkey, pepper Jack Cheese with Spicy Chipotle Mayo)

  • Roast Beet & Cheddar wrap (roast beef and mild cheddar, lettuce, tomato topped with tangy Horseradish cream spread)

  • Basil Pesto Tuscan Grilled Chicken wrap (grilled chicken with basil pesto, provolone, on Foccacia)

  • Roasted Vegetable Multigrain wrap (roasted squash, peppers, accompanied by Herbed Goat Cheese with Field Greens on a multigrain roll)

PLEASE EMAIL JILL LONG WITH YOUR CHOICE BY not later than TUESDAY AFTERNOON at 3 PM.  Cost $14.
If cash - exact change only.  If check - payable to Bethlehem Rotary Club

If you're planning to join by ZOOM - here's the club's link (but please be there in person)

Yours in Rotary service,

Vice President Lori Knerr
