LAST WEEK:

Many thanks to Rotarian Angelo Valletta and his talented team at Ben Franklin TechVentures for providing a wonderful meeting venue last Wednesday where we heard a very informative presentation by the leadership team of Thread Bioscience a client of the Ben Franklin Program.  Thread BioScience is developing a number of technologies in support of care teams (and patients!) dealing with urinary tract infections, to include a point-of-care rapid test, a device for comparing IV inflows and urinary outflows to ensure that a patient's system is operating in balance, and a device that monitors the color of urinary catheter outflows to warn the care team of any changes in color that might be a concern.

CEO Craig Serio discussing Thread Bioscience products

Chief Innovation Officer Brian Feldman giving a demo of Thread Bio's products

THIS WEEK:

On Wednesday August 31, 2022 we meet in the 6th floor KingSpry conference Room, (Bethlehem Plaza Mall at 1 West Broad Street).  Parking is available in the Walnut Street Garage or at metered on-street spots.

Our speaker will be Rotary District 7430 Governor Len Gieseler (pronounced GUY-SELER).  Rotary's 2022-2023 theme is "Imagine Rotary."  Let's imagine a standing room only crowd to hear what Len has to say.  You can DO it.

DG Len Gieseler
