THIS WEEK --  Join us through Zoom as we hear from Anne Baum,  the first President of Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital. A well-known and respected business leader in the Lehigh Valley for more than 20 years, Ms. Baum came to Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital from Capital Blue Cross. She is the author of the books Small Mistakes, Big Consequences – Develop Your Soft Skills to Help You Succeed, which helps people identify common behavior mistakes that can make or break relationships, and Small Mistakes, Big Consequences for Interviews.

Take advantage of this wintry weather and curl up with our discussion book, The Line Becomes a River: Dispatches from the Border. During our month of reading time, we will hear from speakers about the immigration issue and then offer both an afternoon and evening discussion in February.

Please consider volunteering for our service project on January 23. Contact Bill Rowe about your interest in preparing and/or serving the evening meal at the Bethlehem Emergency Shelter.

Last week -- Our own Paul Leese spoke to us about leadership and offered some practical advice about leading people and organizations.

Please be particularly vigilant this week as Covid diagnoses seem pervasive in my circles.

Yours in Rotary service,

President Deb Walter
