Good morning Rotarians,
I received notice that our former member Deb Geiger lost her battle with cancer on Friday January 31. A Celebration of Life will most likely be held at the end of February or early March. As I receive additional information on services I will share with the Club. Please keep Jim and the rest of Deb's family in your prayers.
Our Club will be participating in a Service Project with Bloom. Bloom is hosting an event at The Hotel Bethlehem on March 14, and we are looking for a few volunteers. The cost is $45 per person if you would like to attend on your own and will benefit My Sister's Closet. Our Club will be conducting a clothing drive for this event. Donated items may be brought to our weekly meetings and given to DeeDee Foran or myself in DeeDee's absence.
Our BAVTS lunch will be held on February 19 at noon. The cost will be $20 per person. Please RSVP by February 10 to Dana Huber at huberd@bavts.org.
We will also be hosting the 4 Way Test competition on Wednesday March 19 from 12:30-1:30. We will not be having a meeting that week, but all are welcome to attend the competition. We are also still in need of at least 2 volunteers to judge the competition. Please let Dana know of your interest in judging.
Are you interested in making a difference in our Club? Our nominating committee is looking for nominees for the board for the upcoming 2025/2026 Rotary year. Please let Ham Malek know of your interest in being a positive impact and change maker in our Club!
And finally, there is no noon meeting this week. It is the First Wednesday, and we will be meeting at Adagio. I hope to see you all there!
