I am so looking forward to seeing you in person this week as we gather at the Ben Franklin Tech Ventures building in the R. Chadwick Paul conference room. Our speakers are Angelo Valetta, President and CEO of Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Northeastern Pennsylvania and Dr. Kathryn Worrilow, Founder and CEO of LifeAire Systems, LLC. Dr. Worrilow presented to the Bethlehem Rotary Club several years ago. LifeAire Systems manufactures medical grade air purification systems that eradicate 99.9% of airborne pathogens and chemical contaminants in a single pass. She will share her company’s experience during the COVID pandemic.
Ben Franklin Tech Ventures is located on Lehigh University’s Mountaintop Campus, immediately to the right after passing through the Mountaintop Campus main gate. You may park in front of the building or in the parking deck to the rear of the building. Enter the building’s first floor lobby on the south side and you will be directed to the conference room.
Our board will also be meeting in person, just prior to the general meeting.
FINISH THAT BOOK! -- Maria Dietrich's facilitated discussion of the book "Educated" will be held on Wednesday at 6:30 pm on Zoom. Email her at mdietrich87@gmail.com to RSVP.
LAST WEEK -- We learned a great deal about Peace Corps opportunities from Recruiter Megan Keil who volunteered in Tanzania. Originally from Bethlehem, she is now a Rotarian in New Hampshire. She advised us to recruit former Peace Corps volunteers living in our area.
