Our Community lost a valued and faithful friend with the passing of Past District Governor Linda Young on July 6th. Please join your fellow Rotarians and Linda's family on Monday, July 19, 2021 for visitation from 9:30-11:00 a.m. and a Mass beginning 11:00 am at Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church, 1861 Catasauqua Rd. Have you ever seen a female plumber? Ken Midgett, an instructor at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute (LCTI) who, in 2019 was named the Plumbing Instructor of the Year by the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association has six future female plumbers in his program. He spoke about his work that not only prepares students for jobs but also about demanding that his students actively participate and interact and dress appropriately.
President Deb and her husband Mark dropped off 27 birdhouse kits to assemble and decorate by seniors living in the Litzenberger House on Bethlehem's south side. The birdhouse kits included a note from the Bethlehem Rotary letting each senior know we are thinking of them and that we hope they enjoy the activity.
