At our meeting of June 20th, George Mowrer presented the Paul Harris Fellow +3 to Dr, Christine Nelson. Christine became a member of Bethlehem Rotary in 2014, and PHF +3 represents 4 consecutive contributions of $1,000. Thanks, Christine, for your commitment to Rotary.

Maria Esposito was inducted as our newest member of Bethlehem Rotary. Maria is the Vice President of Advancement at PBS Channel 39. Maria was formerly a Rotarian in the Farmington Hills and Grosse Point Rotary Clubs in Michigan some time ago. She was sponsored by Stacy Scholl. Congratulations Maria, we are pleased to welcome you as a member.

Our program was a classification talk by Karley Biggs Sebia. Karley is an attorney with the firm of King, Spry, Herman, Freund & Faul. Karley grew up in Bethlehem and graduated from Moravian Academy. She received her undergraduate degree from Franklin & Marshall, and her law degree from Duquesne University. Karley’s area of practice reflects her keen interest in Affordable Housing, and Education Law. Karley has two young children, and her spouse is in the automobile business. Karley’s mother and father, as well as her brother, attended the meeting, and we learned that her father had a medical practice in the Lehigh Valley for many years before the practice became a part of LVHN. Thanks, Karley, for sharing your story with us.

Rotary Weekly Update
Rotarians prepare to find inspiration in Toronto
More than 24,000 registered participants from 175 countries are expected to gather in Toronto from 23-27 June for Rotary's largest event of the year, the annual convention. Like Rotary, Toronto is a city that values diversity. Rotary members will hear from a lineup of inspiring speakers including former First Lady of the United States Laura Bush and HRH The Princess Royal, Princess Anne. They will also have a chance to renew friendships and enjoy the hospitality of local Rotarians as they share Canada's rich heritage. Follow all our coverage.
