Hello Rotarians,
This Wednesday, June 17th, we will hold our monthly business meeting at The Gathering Place, 75 E Market St.(entrance at Christ Church UCC on Market St.) The agenda will include a time of remembering followed by a moment of silent reflection for recently passed Rotarian Gerry Long, sign-ups for newly reorganized committees for the coming 2026/27 Rotary year, an overview of incoming President Mark Walter’s plans and goals for the club, and Happy Bucks.
Lunch options will be much like our April and May meetings at this venue. This time, we will place a group DoorDash order from North Street Café or you are welcome to bring your own or have something else delivered under your own order. The following week, June 24, we will return to Prime for a final time for our changeover ceremony where we will thank President Lori for her 3 years of service and welcome incoming President Mark to his term for 2026/27.
The first week of July, we will hold a board meeting via Zoom on July 1 at noon, and there will be a social gathering that evening at 5:30 to greet potential new members and meet up with our fellow members who may not often make it to noon meetings.
Fun & Fellowship Event
Get ready for our first Fun & Fellowship Event of the new Rotary Year! We have 12 reserved seats for the production of Gypsy on Thursday, July 2, at 7:30 pm at Northampton Community College's Summer Theatre Program. "Experience the legendary tale of the original showbiz stage mom in this beloved musical. Big brass, big drama, big fun!" Tickets are just $24. We'll meet on the patio of Blue at 6:00 for those who would like to have a drink and chat before the show.
