COVID has increased demand for foster and adoptable pets. See photo of my "baby" with his COVID foster puppy from The Center for Animal Health and Wellness in Easton. We will hear from Rosaria Stoops, program director of that center, about how the center responded to the increased demand. Rosaria is a member of the Allentown Rotary Club.
REMINDER: We meet in person this Wednesday at Kirkland Village and are excited to welcome Easton Rotary Club members who will join us. Lunches were reserved by Friday last week. We ordered five more than were reserved, so f you didn't reserve but are hopeful - bring along your $10 and you may be one of the lucky five!
Here's the map for getting there and the ZOOM link below if you need to join us virtually.
DiRECTIONS: Enter from Madison Avenue (lower right). Go straight then turn right into
Kirkland Village Circle (one-way road). Park there and enter the 3000 building (yellow arrow).
Our thanks to Maria Dietrich and Mike McGovern for leading our book discussion about reasons for optimism last week.
Our thanks to Cindy Glick for organization an informative BOARDwalk at God's Acre where we learned that the Moravians did not segregate by race in the cemetery or in the communal living halls and that all tombstones were similar so no one would be elevated in life or in death. How beautiful! See the photos below.
