I hope that you all were able to spend some quality time enjoying the long Thanksgiving weekend with family and friends!
Although we did not have a lunch meeting this past week, I wanted to reach out to remind you about our meeting this Wednesday, November 28th. There will be a full agenda, so I will likely “ring the bell” to get us started at around 12:10 PM…. a few minutes earlier than usual.
This week we will be taking time to celebrate the final results from Tastes and Tunes! Julie Bailey will be on hand from the Foundation for the Bethlehem Area School District as well as representatives from many of our participating restaurants and sponsors. We expect a full house, so please come and help us celebrate the good work and fantastic results!!
In addition, we will be hearing from Gary Warren, owner and head brewer at Lehigh Valley Kombucha…. Come find out what it is that Gary brews!!!
See you on Wednesday!
Some reminders:
The Bethlehem Rotary will again support the Salvation Army by volunteering to ring the bell outside the Moravian Book Shop on Saturday, December 1st. Ron Bauer will be making an announcement at our meeting this week and circulating a sign-up sheet for those who are willing to serve. There are a few afternoon slots remaining, so please support Ron in this worthy cause.
We currently have one temporary position available on our Board. This would be a 7-month term that would be complete as of June 30th, 2019. If you are interested in filling this position, please contact me directly.
Registration for District Conference is open. The conference this year is in Allentown, so it will be very convenient for us all to attend.
