Our meeting this week continued to keep the momentum of this year going! 

 

We began the meeting with 2 of our BAVTS Shadow students giving short presentations.

 

We followed that with Past District Governor Diane Donaher presenting longtime member, and birthday girl, Cindy Glick with a Paul Harris Fellow pin. We then presented a check for $11,789 to the Bridges Foundation from our Tastes & Tunes Goes to the Races fundraiser. 

 

A club assembly was held. DeeDee Foran spoke about committees and the revitalization of them. If you are interested in sitting on a committee, please reach out to DeeDee. Our committees are an integral piece of our Club. 

 

I presented those in attendance our Dues Policy & Procedure, along with an updated Membership Category document. Our Membership Committee, along with the Board, worked very hard on these documents to clean them up and update them. A separate email will be sent with these documents, and they will be uploaded onto ClubRunner. 

 

Next week we have David and Danielle Sheehan from Saint Michaels Warriors speaking to the club about their organization. Saint Michael's was created to help guide first responders, veterans, active-duty military and their families through difficult times.
