We will meet in the KingSpry conference room on the 6th floor of the high rise building at 1 W. Broad Street. The keynote speaker is Rotarian George Mowrer. We look forward to hearing about his 500+ miles walking the Camino Frances in May. Lunch is available for purchase at the BRICK restaurant on the ground floor or at Subway across the street. Special thanks to Deb Geiger for making the arrangements. In keeping with the consensus of the new board, we are committed to working toward meeting in person each week if possible. A hybrid Zoom option will be provided for those unable to attend in person. The July 13th meeting will be exclusively on Zoom.

LAST WEEK:
We closed a successful Rotary year under the leadership of President Debra Walter. She provided a meaningful review of the highlights of the year 2021-2022. These included launching Board Walks, a Rotary Book Club, and Task Forces reviewing finances and board/committee structure. We offer deepest thanks to her for her dedication to the Club and her insightful and creative leadership during a second full year of the pandemic. Immediate Past President Deb will continue as an officer of the Club and will chair our major fundraiser for the year, Taste and Tunes (October 2).
As incoming president, I made use of the opportunity to thank retired Rotarians Bob and Madeline Brown for their 2013 invitation to attend a lunch meeting of the Rotary Club of Bethlehem. I am looking forward to a terrific year with the theme “Imagine Rotary” presented by RI President Jennifer Jones. We are joyfully facing the challenges of transitioning out of a ravaging pandemic and maintaining our excellence as a service organization. The election result for the 2022-2023 board is shown below. At our first board meeting on July 3rd, Past President Pete Mickolay was elected as Parliamentarian, a non-voting member of the board.
