THIS WEEK:
Time for an exciting tour of the Fab Lab! Our meeting on May 10th will be in Room 114, at 11:45 AM at the Fowler Center on Third Street. A finger lunch of mini-Kaisers, cheeses and fresh cut fruit with the ever-present brownies and ice tea will be available. Cost $11. Tour will begin 12:15 and run 45 minutes. It is important that you sign up for just the tour and/or lunch. This will enable FAB LAB Director to decide if more than one guide is needed. Please respond to Jill Long (jillwilsonlong@gmail.com) with your choice of tour and lunch or just tour by Tuesday 11AM.

Since the program content will be presented during the tour and not in room 114 – there will be no need for ZOOM and it will not be offered this week.

BOARD MEMBERS:  Please note that the board will meet following the meeting – most likely in room 114, but we will confirm that to board members.

LAST WEEK:
Rotarian Al Philpotts welcomed and introduced Captain Matthew Griffin from the Bethlehem Fire Department. Capt. Matt is responsible for the training division and led us through a PowerPoint presentation on fire safety tips. He gave an overview of the structure of the BFD and offered handouts at the end of his talk. Club members we engaged throughout and had lots of questions. With 100 fire personnel in four platoons, we felt assured of the effective work of the BFD. We offer our deepest thanks for their service. For Club members who are residents of the City, the BFD will come to your residence to install new or replacement smoke detectors. CENTENNIAL PARK CLEANUP:
Join fellow Rotarians on Saturday, April 13 from 9 AM to 11:30 AM ushering our favored park into Spring.

Yours in Rotary service,

President Hopeton Clennon
