This week we will have a Business Meeting on Wednesday April 17 at 12pm at Moravian Village. I encourage everyone to try to attend as we will have a lot of new and exciting news about our Club!
The dues invoices have been emailed out. If you did not receive your bill via email please let me know.
The Board will be beginning the process of preparing the Community Budget in May. We are looking for input from the members. Remember, this is YOUR club! In the past we have supported the following:
4 Way Test
Dictionary Project
Tree Planting for Earth Day
Camp Neidig
Guatemala Water Project
Shelter Box
Centennial Park
And many more
This year we are starting with a clean slate of projects to support and are asking club members to champion a project they are passionate about. This means we will not necessarily be supporting and funding projects we have in the past, and projects may not be funded if there is not a club member to support it, talk about it and organize events surrounding the project. Please reach out to any board member to express your interest in projects to be considered in the Community Budget.
Fast District Governor Bob Hobaugh sent me this information to include in this week's bulletin:
NOTE: For Earth Day this year OUR CLUB is planting 60 trees!!!
