Hello fellow Rotarians,
This week we brought back our years long tradition of our Thanksgiving Luncheon. I had the pleasure of hosting 5 other area clubs, as well as having our very own District Governor Diane Donaher speak about her vision for the year. We had 50 Rotarians, visitors and family attend.
As we prepare this week to share time with family and friends for the Thanksgiving holiday, let us all pause a moment and think of all that we have to be thankful for and how we can continue to make a difference in the lives of others around us. Perhaps it is reaching out to a friend or neighbor that may be alone during this season, donating food or helping to serve a meal at a church or shelter, sending a package to military member, or maybe it is just reflecting on all we have to be thankful for.
I am thankful for this club, each of you, and all of the support you have shown me during my year as president.
As a reminder, we have no meeting on Wednesday the 22nd, but resume on Wednesday the 29th.
From my family and I to you and yours, I wish you all a Thanksgiving full of peace, love, abundant food and a good pair of stretchy pants.
