Good afternoon Rotarians!

This past week we had our exciting fieldtrip to BAVTS thanks to Dana Huber. The culinary students prepared a wonderful Italian feast for us and as always, it did not disappoint!

We also had Past District Governor Janet Kolepp in attendance. PDG Janet spoke to us about the "WHAT" and the "WHY" What is Rotary to each of us? Why did we join? Why do we stay? What impacts do we have? It was a wonderful presentation that was very thought provoking. I know I walked away feeling new purpose and excitement for my Rotary journey. Hopefully those in attendance did as well.

This week we have Jennifer Cunningham from Morning Star Rotary Club and PDG Diane Donaher presenting about Youth Programming. We are working very hard behind the scenes revamping our Youth Programming Committee and projects and I cannot wait for you all to hear what we have going on, not only this year, but planning into next year.

As a reminder we are meeting at Prime Steakhouse located on Stoke Park Road in Bethlehem this week. The cost of the lunch is $25, which includes your entree, non-alcoholic beverage, tax & tip. There are 3 choices:
  • Prime Burger
    • 1/2 pound burger with American cheese, bacon, sauteed mushrooms, lettuce and tomato
  • Chicken Panini
    • Chicken breast on ciabatta bread with provolone cheese, roasted red peppers and pesto aioli
  • Fresh salad bar

We are also participating in a clothing drive as part of our Service Project for Bloom, and it is also not too late to bring in any gently worn women's clothing for spring and summer. We are also collecting maternity apparel, baby items, as well as jewelry and handbags. Please bring any donations to our weekly meeting. We are accepting donations until March 12.

I hope to see you all Wednesday!

Yours in Rotary service,

President Lori Knerr
