Happy Groundhog's Day!
At last week's Club Assembly, President Lori presented the 2025/26 Club Budget (funded from dues), the Proposed Community Budget (funded from Nite at the Races), and announced our 3-year action plan that has been approved by the board. Diane Donaher also announced the proposed monthly service projects for the reminder of 25/26 year. There’s a lot going on, and we encourage all members to join in, take part, and lend a hand. Get involved!
Club Board positions opening on 7/1/26: Secretary, Co-Treasurer and two at-large members. Contact Ham Malek if interested.
The February 4th First Wednesday Social will be at The Clubhouse Grill at The Bethlehem Golf Club, 400 Illicks Mill Road, Bethlehem. Happy Hour 5-6, followed by dinner for those who want to stay.
On February 18th, our noon meeting will be held at Bethlehem Area Technical School (BAVTS), where the culinary students will prepare a delicious meal. The cost is $20, and registration is required under “upcoming events” (bottom right of this newsletter). We need a headcount for lunch by 2/11. Payment can also be made when registering.
Lastly, long time member and club historian, Roger Whitely passed away on January 24th. Roger served as Secretary and authored our club history for the centennial celebration. Read his obituary.
