The 4 Way Speech Test Contest will be held on Tuesday, March 3 at Bethlehem Area Vocational Technical School. Come out and support the students as they compete to represent our club at the regional contest on March 7. There are 3 contestants so the event should be no more than one hour. Arrive at the school by 11:45 and bring your driver's license for check-in. We are conducting this contest with Morning Star Rotary so members of both clubs are invited to attend. There is no meal being served. We hope to see you there!
The First Wednesday Social on March 4 will be at Molly's Irish Grill from 5-7pm to celebrate St Patrick's Day. We'll have a "Best Wearin' of the Green" award. Molly's is located on the Southside at the corners of New Street & East 4th Street.
Last week, our speaker Bob Wingrove discussed a seminar he is hosting on March 21. The Freezer Ministry is one of three organizations we will partner with for this year's October fundraiser at Essentials Cafe. This seminar may provide Rotary members with valuable understanding of food insecurity, nutritional needs, and future perspectives. See invitation below.
