THIS WEEK -- We will meet on ZOOM and will hear from one of our Tastes & Tunes volunteers, Shane Killeen, culinary arts instructor at Career Institute of Technology (CIT) in Easton. Shane has volunteered as a server, and last year he and his students created beautiful sugar cookies with our logo for our T&T event. Shane will speak about Chef's Cycle where he and other chefs bicycle extreme distances to raise money to feed children in need.

LAST WEEK -- We heard about the transformative work that Communities In Schools does in the Lehigh Valley. Our thanks to Tim Mulligan, President/CEO, and Maria Esposito, Vice President of Advancement.
Our thanks to all who distributed dictionaries to every third-grade class in the Bethlehem Area School District. Mark and I enjoyed our morning at Fountain Hill Elementary. It started off rough with a few boys trying to hand them back to us and ended with a few girls asking us to autograph their dictionaries so they could remember this day when they are adults.

And a special thank you to all who pitched in the last few weeks as Mark and I have struggled with COVID and ailing parents.

* At Donegan Elementary School, after receiving their dictionaries, all the 3rd graders SANG to the three Rotary Presenters. Go to our website (www.bethlehemparotary.org) and scroll down to see an image you can click on to watch a video of the boisterous singing of these amazing students. Special thanks to teachers Ms Fontanez, Ms Polly and Ms Dartouzos, who wrote their students names on the front pages of their students' dictionaries (We delivered them a week early). It was a very special day!
NEXT WEEK -- Prepare to meet in person in Downtown Bethlehem. More information to follow soon!
