ONE HUNDRED PERCENT PARTICIPATION is our goal this year for The Rotary Foundation. It is my hope that all 108 of us share this goal and will help make it happen. Please join me and make a gift of any amount, there is no minimum, to The Rotary Foundation. So far we are hovering at 40% participation. Last year we were at 73%. These dollars come back to our District and provide funding for our grant projects. We are already committed to next year’s grant project, Community Bike Works, which you heard about a few months ago. IRON PIGS ON APRIL 28th: The Membership Committee is in full swing with plans in place for you to bring a prospective new member to the Iron Pigs game on April 28th. We have tickets for a dugout suite at Coca Cola Park that night so you may bring a guest at no cost. There will be food and beverages too. A documentary film produced by Rotary staff that features Rotary member Marion Bunch and her work to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS in underprivileged African communities has won two 2015 Telly Awards. “Rotary Family Health Days” received a Silver Telly, the highest honor, in the online video-documentary category, and a Bronze Telly in the online video-branded content and entertainment category. The documentary was shown by the South African Broadcasting Corporation throughout Africa.
