We were joined by BAVTS Artisan of the Month, Narissa Nieves of Liberty HS. With confidence and poise at the microphone she spoke about her passion for creating art works and showed us some pieces of her work. We wish her every success at finding the college or university that will nurture her talent.

Bethlehem Rotary "BoardWalk" -- WALK A MILE IN WORN SHOES - Saturday September 25th
Rotary board member Deb Walter, City of Bethlehem Planning Director and Rotarian Darlene Heller, and Bethlehem Emergency Sheltering Executive Director Bob Rapp led club members from Sand Island to the Minsi Trail Bridge and on to Christ UCC where they grabbed a walking brown bag lunch.
During the course of their journey, they heard of the challenges of those who experience homelessness and learned about the plans the city has to meet their needs.
This BoardWalk, along with our homelessness book discussion on September 28, will prepare us to be excellent ambassadors for Bethlehem Emergency Sheltering at our Tastes and Tunes event on October 2.
THIS WEEK:
Our weekly meeting will be in the Barnette Conference Room at the National Museum of Industrial History (NMIH).
Our featured speaker will be -- ALL OF US! We will share our observations concerning the books we have read (or skimmed) related to those who experience homelessness.
