Though we did not have our regular meeting last week so as not to conflict with the Presidential Inauguration, I hope you were able to keep Rotary in focus-I know several committees have been busy. If you noticed an email titled ROTARY D7430 Bulletin: 1/21/21: Inspiring Leaders are People of Action! be sure to watch the 5 minute People of Action Stories video featuring D.G. Janet Kolepp, DGE Bob Hobaugh, DGN Len Gieseler, AND our own DGND Diane Donaher all sharing their very inspiring Rotary stories. If you missed it, go to the D7430 website or our clubs Facebook page.

Tomorrow night at 6:30 pm is the D7430 Grant Management Seminar training via Zoom. Your training certification will be valid for 3 years and will be necessary for us to receive future District Grants. If your certification is running out later this year it is a perfect time to renew. Go to www.rotarydistrict7430.org to register. If you cannot attend tomorrow night, there will be one more session on March 8.

By now it should be obvious much Rotary information can be found at our www.bethlehemparotary.org Clubrunner site (and D7430 site) to stay informed on the latest information and links. Al Philpotts is always updating the home page with information like Covid info for Club Members, upcoming events, etc. Currently our Rotary in Motion feature showcases our newer member Winston Alozie, CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Bethlehem , and a link to the Fig Magazine article he is featured in. Congratulations Winston.

It has been several months-but it is back! Rotary HAPPY HOUR Thursday is January 28th at 5:30 pm. You may think Paul Ricciardi has been taking it easy-no way. Paul advises the Dictionary Committee has ordered the enough dictionaries for 3rd grade students as well as 4th graders who did not receive them last year due to the lock down.
The committee will be updating us at the meeting plus I'm sure Paul can fill in all the details during the Happy Hour on Thursday. Remember, if you liked our Zoom meeting on December 23rd where we just talked with each other and got updates on what is going on in our lives-you need to attend Happy Hour and keep the great conversation going. It's like sitting around a table at an in-person meeting before the meeting begins, except we just keep talking.

Be sure to join us at this weeks meeting to hear our BAVTS Artisan of the Month student give an inspiring talk of future plans to round out the January Rotary theme of Vocational Service. Our featured speaker is Northampton County District Attorney Terry Houck giving us an update on what is happening in the DA's office plus other issues being discussed. Please have your questions ready for a Q&A immediately after his talk.
