Monday, February 5, 2024:

Hello fellow Rotarians,

This past week we met at BAVTS and had a delicious meal prepared by the students. We also announced that The Bridges Foundation will be the principal recipient of this years Tastes and Tunes proceeds and Dana Huber will be the Chair of the committee. If you are interested in being on the committee please let her know.

February 7th being the first Wednesday in the month it will be an evening meeting and will be held at Adagio beginning at 5:30 PM.

We received a very nice affirmation from James Madison University music student Emma Lisson, our most recent winner of our foundation's Walter A. Schrempel Music Scholarship upon receiving a message from Mark Reed that the second of two $500 checks was on its way to James Madison University on her behalf. She writes "What an honor it is to be receiving this scholarship. I've absolutely loved my time here at JMU so far- I am so grateful to be studying under such experienced and talented professors!

Yours in Rotary service,

President Lori Knerr
