We got back on track this week with a classification talk by new member Greg Capogna. Greg serves as Executive Director of WDIY, our local non-profit radio station. He has a long history in broadcasting and this is his first venture into community radio (and hopefully his last job, according to Greg). He has two grown children and a partner and shared many photos and stories of them. Welcome, Greg!
Greg Capogna shares his story with club members. Thanks Greg!
We also got our first in depth look at this year’s Tastes & Tunes event! Diane Donaher gave a wonderful look into our beneficiary, The Charles Brown Ice House. This is the first time the event will benefit a building and not a specific non-profit. This is because there are many organizations that benefit from the space the Ice House provides. Although owned by the City of Bethlehem, the building is in dire need of roof repairs, something our Club is in a great position to help with! The event will be Sunday, October 6 and will feature music by the Jazz Collective. Stay tuned for more updates!

Coming up for our July 24th meeting, Chris Betley will give his classification talk.
