Emilse Anabella Palacios began her relationship with Rotary as a Youth Exchange student and later a member of a Group Study Exchange. Later as a Rotary Peace Fellow, she began to hone the leadership skills that would become a permanent part of her life. On the last day of 2018, she joined 89 other women aboard a research vessel to Antarctica as part of the largest female expedition to that continent.
