Bethlehem Rotary's "Tastes & Tunes" 2017 Raises $50,000 for Junior League of the Lehigh Valley
On Sunday, October 1, 2017, at the Historic Hotel Bethlehem, the Rotary Club of Bethlehem conducted its fifth annual Tastes & Tunes fund-raising event. The designated charitable recipient for the event was the Junior League of the Lehigh Valley, an organization of women with a current focus on educational disparity. Volunteers from the Rotary Club and the Junior League helped create a memorable event that attracted 12 participating restaurants, 23 sponsors, more than 100 auction items and more than 200 attendees.
The happy result of this amazing effort was a $50,000 check proudly presented at the December 6, 20167 weekly meeting of the Club by Tastes & Tunes co-chairs Bob Smith and Deb Walter to Junior League president Alison Zavatone.
