In honor of our Club's 100th year, our club the Rotary International Fund jointly contributed funds and members contributed effort to redesigning and refurbishing the pocket park on Sand Island opposite the Ice House. Regional youth helped with work and BAVTS students submitted mural designs for which Club members voted to select the winning design. On October 18th Jane Persa, Recreation Administrator, City of Behtlehem, representing Bethlehem Mayor Robert J. Donchez, joined Project Chairperson Brennan Pursell in cutting the ribbon to formally open the renovated Children's Park.
