Steve Kendra from the Souderton-Telford Rotary Club will make a presentation about Rotaplast.  Rotaplast International and our District 7430 Rotaplast volunteers work collaboratively to help children and families worldwide by eliminating the burden of cleft lip and/or palate. Rotaplast sends medical and non-medical teams to provide 100-percent-free reconstructive surgery. That’s right, FREE surgeries for every patient we serve. This, to our team, is the Magic of Rotary.  

For those who have purchased tickets in advance - Our May social will be at the Iron Pigs.  We will join the Rotary Club of  Allentown West for their annual Iron Pigs Suite Night.  This event will replace our 1st Wednesay Social.

Nick attends Liberty High School.  He is from Bolivia and he will tell us about his experiences this year as an exchange student.  Our club is sharing the expenses of hosting a student with Bethlehem Morning Star.  Don't miss this meeting and the opportunity to meet and greet Nick! 

Rick will give us an update on the Guatemala Water Project.  This presentation will be virtual. 

Darah Donaher, Assistant Professor of Theater, Northampton Community College holds a Master of Fine Arts, Michigan State University, BA in Theater, Penn State University, in addition to extensive choreography and dance experience.  Darah will speak to our members about the NCC Theatre Education Program and the NCC Summer Theatre Series.

Rotarians will become "Joy Makers" at the July 8 Rotary Club meeting! We'll learn about the nonprofit organization Joyful Giving and conduct a hands-on project to assemble 200 Joy Maker bags as part of the meeting.  Website Link: Home | Joyful Giving

Blue Zones, is an initiative focused on promoting healthy lifestyles through environmental changes. Lauren will present an overview of Blue Zones and their Power 9 habits, explaining Bethlehem's three-year initiative to improve health through various community projects and policy changes.

Terry Reed, District 7430 Environmental Sustainability Committee Chair. The committee has worked to set up a list of resources for district clubs to use in setting up their individual projects. They are encouraging clubs to establish environmental projects and work together with neighboring clubs, to work on larger undertakings.

Jeremiah is a native of Lancaster County, growing up in the village of Intercourse. He is a graduate of Penn State University, Capital Campus, and has lived and worked in the Berks County, Pennsylvania since 2010. Jeremiah resides in Wyomissing with his wife, Heidi, and his two children, Cole and Hazel.

Jeremiah is the Founder and President of Capacity Financial Planning & Investments, an independent Financial Advisory firm he founded in 2023. He has worked as a Financial Adviser since 2005.

As a Financial Adviser, Jeremiah was invited to attend Rotary while he worked in Oxford, PA. When moving his practice to Wyomissing in 2008 he was seeking a local club and found the West Reading-Wyomissing Club. He was welcomed with open arms, and joined the club in 2008. Jeremiah then became President for the first time in 2013-14 and then again for two years from 2019-2021. He has served as Assistant Governor for District 7430 from 2020-25, and will take on the role of District Governor in July of 2026.

Jeremiah is a Rotary Foundation Major Donor Level 1, as well as a Paul Harris Society Member and Sustaining Member. His commitment to service above self is fulfilled through his work with Rotary and sustained giving to help make the world a more peaceful place for all.

In the few hours left after work, family, and Rotary, Jeremiah enjoys attending live music events, cooking for his family, taking on home improvement projects and playing guitar. 

The Bethlehem Historic District Association is hosting an annual neighborhood yard sale on Saturday, September 19th.  They have 50+ families participating and more treasures than you can imagine.  Rotary Club of Bethlehem will participate in this community YARD SALE in front of Rocco Damato's home on Market Street.  We need volunteers to help AND we need you to start gathering treasures for the sale.  Proceeds from this event will support the Boys & Girls Club of Bethlehem.
