Upcoming “Board” Walk in Bethlehem’s Rose Garden Park, 651 8th Avenue, 8th Avenue & Union Boulevard Saturday, February 18 at 11:00 AM at the park entrance off of 8th Avenue Join Board members for a casual walk through Bethlehem’s Rose Garden Park. The walk will be lead by members of the nearby neighborhood group, the Mount Airy Neighborhood Association (MANA). They will provide information on the Park’s many veteran and war memorials located throughout the park area. MANA has adopted the Park over the last several years. Their historic research of the park includes, not only the memorials and monuments, but also the park itself and its development over time. The goal is to have the research included in a future nomination for designation on the National Register of Historic Places. The walk will also include information on recent park improvements, the summer farmer’s market and other events that occur on the Park throughout the year. Please join us! We can stroll to lunch afterward at Black Forest Deli, 745 W Union Blvd.
