Hello fellow Rotarians!

This week we had a joint meeting with the other Area 2 Clubs at the Kellyn Foundation in Tatamy. In addition to our club, Easton, Bethlehem Morning Star, Nazareth and Allentown clubs were represented. We had about 55 fellow Rotarians and guests in attendance. It was a great night of fellowship, catching up with old friends and meeting new. The food was provided by The Kellyn Foundation and was fantastic. Drinks were provided by Tolino Vineyards and Weyerbacher Brewing.

We are looking forward to our next joint venture which will be on March 9, 2024. More info to come on that. There is a meeting to discuss this on Tuesday October 10 at 7pm. If anyone is interested in participating please let me know and I will provide the details.

Tastes & Tunes Updates:
  • We are about 2 weeks out.
  • We can still accept sponsorships
  • Only 14 tickets have been sold. Did you get your tickets yet? If not the link is on our website OR bring a check to the meeting and save a few dollars OR just donate those fees ($6) to the event.
  • We still need bottles of wine, scratch off lottery tickets and auction items.

Every Rotarian should be supporting this event in some way, whether it is a ticket purchased, sponsorship, donation, etc.

And one final bit of exciting news. We have secured a location for our first Wednesday evening meetings. Beginning the first Wednesday in November, the 1st, we will meet at Adagio located at 530 Pembroke Road in Bethlehem, time to be determined. At this time I do not plan for there to be a formal program, but rather an opportunity to invite friends and colleagues in the hope of growing our club, mingle with other club members and have a wonderful meal. We will be able to order anything off the menu so you are able to eat whatever you’d like. Be on the lookout for more information! And if there are any suggestions for activities, etc. for the evening meetings please reach out to me.

Yours in Rotary service,

President Lori Knerr
