Wednesday's meeting was graced by the presence and presentation of Paula Fabon of Madrid, our Youth Exchange Student for the year. Paula gave the Rotarians a beautiful photo tour of Spain, followed by an engaging summary of her time here in Bethlehem as a junior at Liberty High School. Her enthusiasm and likeability underscored the many benefits of the Rotary Youth Exchange program and was a wonderful reminder that we are all part of the same global village. Paula was joined at Rotary by her parents, Javier and Eugenia, and her host families, George and Betsy Mowrer, and Cheryl Baker from Morning Star. Betsy introduced Paula to the Rotarians in attendance, and Cheryl led us all in singing the Spanish language version of Happy (17th) Birthday to her. Also on hand for the occasion was AG Janet Kolepp.

Ron Madison reminded us to start thinking about bringing prospective Rotarians to our night at the LV Iron Pigs in May. We have reserved the Dugout Suite for that night, and it is a great way to demonstrate the fun and fellowship among Rotarians. New and active members keep the Bethlehem Club among the largest and most vibrant in District 7430.
