Hello fellow Bethlehem Rotarians:

 

We did not have a speaker this past week so I spoke about various issues and initiatives in the Club. 

 

First and foremost, the planning for Tastes and Tunes is underway. The date is October 22nd from 3-6 at DeSales University benefitting Battle Borne. We welcome any additional members to join the team. 

 

In addition we are still in need of committee chairs. Darlene Heller stepped up to chair the Program Committee. Thank you Darlene! We are still desperately in need of a Membership Chair. Without these vital committees our club will not be able to grow and fulfill our mission. 

 

We also need someone to take charge of scheduling Rotarians for weekly meeting responsibilities.  Our Sergeant at Arms, luncheon treasurer, 50/50, and greeter are pretty much the same club members every week, but our invocation givers vary.  So for the moment you'll see "invocation" on the website left blank until we can have someone take this important area.

I'm on vacation this week - so Bill Eckert will be chairing our meeting together.
