California Rotary District's Float Wins Rose Parade Trophy

 

Rotary District 5650 once again entered a float in the Tournament of Roses Parade and our club member Mark Reed was there to see it. It won the Princess Trophy for the most beautiful float 35 feet and under.  The RI President K.R. "Ravi" Ravindran proudly rode on the float.  All funds for the float were raised independently.  Rotary International did not supply funding, but all of Rotary benefits from the significant visibility the Parade offers.
